Eighteen years ago, Nadine and I fondly retold Thai stories to anyone willing to listen and to plenty who weren’t. Now being back in Thailand was confounding.

That was the end of our first day back in Prague. Back to the beer bath. During the hour, if the hot tub where the beer flowed like wine was too much, you could hit the hay. Literally. A wooden bed full of hay sat next to the beer sauna.

This whole adventure started back when Nadine and I had this crazy idea to live abroad with our two kids in the Cayman Islands.

Senegal was full of captivating surprises with the active Senegalese people, delicious fresh fruit, and a powerful history.

Could never remember if it was Slovakia or Slovenia and I had us traveling west. But Slovakia, the former Eastern communist country was east.

We dropped off our bags, literally next to the gondola and slopes. Nadine eagerly walked down the fresh powder to buy lift tickets for all the family.
